You just won't want to miss it. Both now and while you are at conference join this blog to keep updated. Blog about why you are going to conference, blog about sessions and who you are meeting up with at conference! Maybe you went to a great place for dinner or stopped at the North Market for some delicious Jeni's ice cream! Let's get some chatter going!

I am so excited about the great line-up of outstanding authors who are coming to OELMA this year! We are fortunate to have so many well-known and highly sought-after authors.

My remember very first OELMA conference was in Cleveland and how exciting it was to hear the authors speak and get them to autograph books for my library. Marc Brown was one of the authors and I loved how he autographed your book by drawing one of his characters. The OELMA conference is a time of reflection, learning, networking and spending time with colleagues from around the state. This year I am presenting a session about differentiated instruction strategies on Thursday at 1 pm and I hope to be able to pass along some helpful tips for addressing the special needs populations in our school libraries.

I saw Jamie McKenzie a few years ago and I was amazed at how much I learned. Don't miss it!

Can't believe conference is here! I'm looking forward to the intellectual stimulation of the sessions and the opportunities to network with colleagues. I'm a big Jamie McKenzie fan, and am looking forward to hearing his ideas, then finding ways to incorporate them in my work. And after conference, I always make time for a quick foray to Short North to browse the shops and galleries.

The conference always gives me new things to try with our students. I come back with so much information! I also love networking with others from across the state. Hope to see some of you at my Moodle session on Thursday.

Just got done finishing my evaluation of the OELMA conference, the one that I have to turn in to my district. I can tell you that I learned a lot of useful tips and tricks, as well as, have some great ideas to use this year in my library. From the INFOhio sessions, which were excellent, to our keynote speaker, I have much to use in the coming year. Hope everyone else feels the same. Thanks for coming...and to those who had to pay on their own...I hope you learned a lot like I did. Finally...many, many thanks to the conference committee..I just couldn't have done it all without your help!!
